Hey, I want to talk to you today about the successful ingredients in your referral marketing system. For any system to work, there are five things that need to happen. The first is that your clients, your customers, your network needs to be asked for referrals consistently. 83% of them say that they would refer if just asked. Number two needs to be some type of incentive in place. It could simply be that you refer to the fact that they’re helping out others that they care about or could be a discount or a gift card.
Number three. There needs to be a way to get your relationships to endorse you and your business so that when you contact them, they’re aware of your value proposition and what that could mean to them. The fourth thing is once you have that in place, you’ve got to create an easy path to make sure that person can raise their hand, and you contact them in the way that they prefer. Then lastly and most important, the more that you can automate one through four, the greater chance of success no matter what you’re doing.
